Annual STEM Festival Showcase Event at North London’s Outstanding Campus

As part of British Science Week at Middlesex University, the annual STEM Festival took place on 12 March 2025. The showcase included an innovative demonstration from Prof. David Windride and PhD Student Vijay Simha Reddy, who presented their AI generative search tool for the Bernie Grant Archive. This cutting-edge technology demonstrates how AI can assist in exploring historical and cultural materials more effectively.
Dr. Roman Belavkin had a successful visit to Japan, delivering lectures and engaging in collaborative research on quantum time operators and optimal transport theory with mathematician Asuka Takatsu.
Multi-disciplinary International Conference on Artificial Intelligence jpsted at CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad for impeccable organisation and hosting. Springer proceedings are available here for download
Huge congratulations to Osita who successfully defended his thesis on Predictive Healthcare Modelling via Kernel-based Machine Learning. Supervised by Prof. David Windridge (DoS) and Prof. Xiaohong Gao. Panel members included Dr. Kevin Wells, Dr. Roman Belavkin, and Prof. Raja Nagarajan.
